Anniversary --- Special Brunch Edition

After paying our next batch of 4 months of rent, we decided that an expensive brunch was just a drop in the bucket (or "a drop on the incandescent plate", as the Dutch say). Also we felt entitled to something special after celebrating our anniversary with crappy airline food.

Even in Jordan people eat. In fact, they have pretty tasty food.

Buffets galore

People seem to like buffets in this part of the world. This morning I was treated to a grand spread with all sorts of things I don't want to eat for breakfast, especially when I am jetlagged and it is 7 in the morning. A picture will be posted once I get my laptop charger back from the security at Tel Aviv airport (hopefully, it will be here tomorrow).

I joined a tour to Petra (I thought I'd cross some more borders, since it was so much fun yesterday). Petra was pretty awesome, and I met some nice people on the tour. The buffet at lunch there was not too bad either.

Tonight I have to work on my presentation (not much time so far, with the Israeli security always hogging my laptop), and tomorrow it is back to work. Booo.
