And today, as an added bonus: a sandwich with a zesty chicken salad.

Potatoes and Schnitzel

Potatoes

Ellen brought us 2 liters of fun from the Netherlands, which was 0.9 liters more than what we had last time. We therefore made some potatoes, and served them with schnitzel and brussel sprouts.

More Okonomiyaki

Edamame

After biking around Gion neighborhood in Kyoto, where we saw beautiful Japanese buildings and ugly love hotels with hotel rooms that could be rented for 30 minutes (I guess this is where the kimono really proves its functionality), we wanted to eat something. We saw this little okonomiyaki restaurant, stopped in front of it, and decided it was good judging by the smell.

Okonomiyake

It turned out to be a good choice --- this one guy was preparing and serving food, and did it really well.

Brussel Sprouts

Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts

And potatoes. Sadly we are out of our Belgian mayonnaise (have been for a while), so I had to settle for this muslim-y variant:

Mayo

To compensate there was pork:

Smoked Pork

(I imagine that there were actually people in the US who wrapped their Thanksgiving turkeys in bacon, in light of the news that their Butterball was actually a Burkaball.)

Hamburguesa

Hamburguesa

With blue cheese and arugula. And sweet and normal potato fries. And mayonnaise. Yum.

Almost up to Date

Laksa

A quick post of some foodz we ate in the last weeks, but that I hardly remember. Pictured above is James Oseland's amazing laksa, where we again used barbecued chicken for extra smokiness.

Mayonnaise

This is the mayonnaise we bought in Belgium, thanks to Ellen's great advice. We wonder whether it will last more than a month.

Potatoes

Some potatoes to eat with the mayo.

Egg Salad

Some eggs and bread to eat with the mayo.

Pizza

Disgusting delivered pizza.
