Excellent food at Supper in Richmond VA: Charcuterie, fried oysters and griddle cakes with pulled pork. Yum-o!

Dinner!

Ellen took us to the Internationale SmulPapen Centrum, where we bought ingredients for dinner:

Oysters!

Or, as alternative, shrimp!

And, easy and oh so tasty: Saumon a l'oseille!

Fresh figs (sadly not from Turkey, but from Bazil):

Anniversary --- Special Brunch Edition

After paying our next batch of 4 months of rent, we decided that an expensive brunch was just a drop in the bucket (or "a drop on the incandescent plate", as the Dutch say). Also we felt entitled to something special after celebrating our anniversary with crappy airline food.

Look at Anke reacting to bottomless bubbly.

Beijing's brunches are not too bad. (And filling --- we are actually skipping dinner today.)
