Williamsburg Waffling

Whatever you do, do not do a Google image search for "Blue Waffle".

No Cooking!

After a long drive, and going grocery shopping, we decided no to cook. We enjoyed a meal of cheeses (brie and bleu d'auvergne, and camembert with apple juice from the oven), pâté en croûte, and a salad with fresh walnuts from poppamomma's walnut tree.

Nuts! Walnuts to be precise!

We finally made the pesto we have been meaning to make since we got the huge bag of walnuts from Adrie and Henk. We bought huge amounts of basil and mint, and used walnuts instead of pine nuts. The result was awesome.

Also we had some dessert, which was decent.



Finally, since nobody is complaining yet, more pictures of Mr. Bojangles.





Feel free to let us know that you're sick of seeing his cute face on the blog. We will then proceed and bring him back to the Tierheim, where he will be unhappy and refuse to eat.
