Goose!

Yesterday we went to the restaurant that has the best goose in the whole world:

It is unbelievably good. The other dishes were not bad either, but the goose is out of this world.

Day 2: lunch and 2 dinners

Sunday was Fodor's day. First of all, Fodor's had a great recommendation for lunch: Hay Hay. The goose here was very very good --- everything was very flavorful.

For the first dinner, we went for tapas at Bocas. We had a nice Pinot Grigio, which we paired with...

... a spinach salad with wllnuts and blue cheese croutons...

... baby octopus...

... and some lovely sardines.

Our restaurant for our second dinner was also recommended by Fodor's: Yung Kee, everybody's favorite restaurant as we could see in the many pages of the menu that showed off all the awards they have won.

The eggs were disgustingly great, sulphurous like hell.

We've acquired a taste for Chinese wine, and must say the wine here is excellent.

But the piece of the resistence was of course the goose. Very nicely done, and the apricot sauce was wonderful...
